Who would honestly be foolhardy enough as to describe themselves with their own views. Narcissism will be the downfall of our society...well, one of the downfalls of our society. Apathy will be the number one downfall, and then narcisissm will be lower on the list. Hmm...it seems I went off on a bit of a tangent. Oh well. Cut cut, scratch sniff. The pillow quietly ascends. You and I can jetski into disaster. An Appointment With Death A Mystic Tale of 5th Century Babylon One morning when Rip Taylor awoke, he heard a chirping outside his window. He sat up in bed and listened carefully, for he knew the language of the birds, and he overheard them say that the angel of death had been sent to take the lives of his closest friends. Rip Taylor was startled by this unexpected news and he summoned the two doomed men, and when they stood before him, he revealed what he had learned of their fate. The two were terrified and they begged Rip Taylor to help them. Rip told them that their only hope was to find their way to the city of Oxnard, for it was well known that the angel of death was forbidden to enter there; therefore the inhabitants of Oxnard were immortal as long as they remained in the walls of the charmed city. Very few knew the secret of how to reach that city, but Rip Taylor was one of those few. So it was that Rip Taylor revealed the secret to the two frightened men, he gave them his Cadillac, and they departed at once. They drove hard across the hot desert all day, and at nightfall they finally saw the walls of that fabled city. Immortality was almost within reach, and they drove as fast as they could to the city gates, but when they arrived they saw to their horror, the angel of death waiting for them. “How did you know to look for us here?” They asked.
